By using soundglow.eu you accept that we process your personal data in accordance with this data policy. We are mindful of the need for appropriate protection and proper handling of your personal information.
2. Purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data
Personal information covers all information that can be used to identify a person, including but not limited to first and last name, age, gender, home address or other physical address, email address or other contact information.
As a general rule, you can browse the Website without telling us who you are or providing personal information about yourself. SoundGlow does, however, need certain personal information to be able to do business with you and deliver orders and other services. We only collect the personal information that is necessary.
The legal basis for processing is primarily:
- Performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) — for order processing and delivery
- Legal obligation (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)) — e.g. Danish bookkeeping law
- Legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)) — for statistics and product improvement
- Consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) — for marketing and non-essential cookies
3. Categories of personal data
We need the following information when you shop with us in order to send the goods to you:
- Name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
We do not collect personally identifiable information about you from third parties, and we do not store information about payment instruments such as card numbers, bank account numbers or similar. Payment information is handled directly by Stripe.
4. Recipients or categories of recipients
Only the company itself uses the personal information we hold about our customers. SoundGlow has guidelines for who has access to it — solely those responsible for order processing, packaging and customer service.
5. Storage of personal data
SoundGlow stores personal data registered with us for five years for accounting purposes (Danish bookkeeping law). After this, the information is deleted.
Data used to send a completed order, where the data is no longer needed, is deleted after 14 days.
6. Right to withdraw consent
You always have the option to be informed of what data we have registered about you, and at any time the right to withdraw your consent. If you wish to receive this information or withdraw your consent, please contact us at hello@soundglow.dk.
If you choose to withdraw your consent, this does not affect the lawfulness of our processing of your personal data based on your previously given consent up until the time of withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, this only takes effect from that time.
You can always have incorrect information corrected.
7. Your rights
Under data protection rules, a data subject has a number of rights in relation to the company's processing of personal data. If you wish to exercise your rights, please contact us.
7.1 Right of access
You have the right to access the information we process about you and a number of other details.
7.2 Right of rectification
You have the right to have incorrect information about you corrected.
7.3 Right of erasure
In certain cases you have the right to have information about you deleted before the time of our normal general deletion.
7.4 Right to restriction of processing
In certain cases you have the right to have processing of your information restricted. If you have the right to have processing restricted, we may in future only process the information — apart from storing it — with your consent or for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, or to protect a person or important public interests.
7.5 Right to object
In certain cases you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You can also object to processing of your data for direct marketing.
7.6 Right to data portability
In certain cases you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this personal data transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.

8. Complaint to the Data Protection Agency
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency if you are dissatisfied with how we process your personal data. You can find the Data Protection Agency's contact information at datatilsynet.dk.
EU consumers can also file a complaint with the supervisory authority of their country of residence.
9. Whom do we share personal data with?
Personal data submitted to SoundGlow is only shared with:
- The company's internal departments
- Selected and trusted third parties who use your personal data to deliver goods or services you have ordered
- Business partners for the purpose of registering and maintaining your user account, if such is created
To further develop and improve soundglow.eu, we keep statistics on how you use the Website. The personal data is registered with us and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted. We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.
As a registered data subject with us, you always have the right to send us your objections to the registration. You also have the right to access what information has been registered about you. Inquiries in this regard should be sent to hello@soundglow.dk.
10. What do we use your personal data for?
We may use your personal data to:
- Service your online purchases on our Website (sending your goods etc.)
- Send your goods/order to you
- Ensure operation and good customer service on our online business
- Give you the opportunity to participate in certain services, e.g. if you sign up for competitions or campaigns online
- Send order confirmations and status messages
